  • No. The Bow Valley Pride Network is not a registered charity and cannot issue charitable tax receipts. The Network operates under Banff Pride and Canmore Pride, which are registered non-profits in Alberta. While your donation directly supports 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion, community education, and safer, more welcoming spaces in Banff, Canmore, and across the Bow Valley, it is not eligible for a charitable tax receipt.

  • Your donation helps power practical, local impact. Contributions support Bow Valley Pride Network programs such as inclusive workplace education, 2SLGBTQIA+ community resources, business engagement, outreach, and tools that help make Banff, Canmore, and the Bow Valley more welcoming places to live, work, visit, and do business. Donations may also help offset program delivery costs, accessibility supports, facilitator fees, and the development of new resources for employers and community partners.

  • Absolutely. There are many ways to support the Bow Valley Pride Network beyond making a donation. You can volunteer, partner with us, attend a workshop, become a member, share resources with your workplace, or help us connect with organizations across Banff, Canmore, and the Bow Valley. Whether you have time, expertise, space, or community connections to offer, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Yes. We welcome in-kind donations that help strengthen our programs, events, and community outreach. This can include professional services, workshop space, printing, food and beverage, prizes, supplies, marketing support, or other goods and services that help us reduce costs and extend our impact. If you have something to contribute, please reach out and tell us what you have in mind.

  • Yes. You can make a donation in honour or in memory of someone special. Tribute gifts are a meaningful way to celebrate a person, mark an important moment, or recognize someone who has made a difference in your life or community. If you would like, we can also help you include a note with your donation or acknowledge the tribute in a thoughtful way.
