Bow Valley
Housing Research

Shape What Comes Next.

Every household in the Bow Valley has a different story. Families, singles, newcomers, long-timers, seasonal workers, permanent residents. This research is designed to capture those differences, because inclusive housing solutions start with understanding who actually lives here.

Housing here is different.
The research should reflect that.

Housing in the Bow Valley doesn't work like anywhere else in Canada. Staff housing, seasonal availability, high cost relative to wages, limited rental stock, these are Bow Valley problems, and they need Bow Valley answers.

The more people who participate, the stronger the case for real change.

Want to go deeper?
Join a focus group.

We're hosting a series of small-group conversations across the Bow Valley for residents who want to share more than a survey allows. These are informal, facilitated discussions, not interviews, not panels, not public hearings.

Just a small group of people talking honestly about housing in this region.

Your participation helps ensure that the final housing toolkit reflects real experiences, not just statistics.

Find a focus group near you.

Sessions are being held in Canmore and Banff June 15 and 16. Spots are limited.

What happens to your answers?

Your responses are anonymous. No names. No contact information. Nothing that identifies you personally.

Your data stays in the community. Results are used to produce a publicly available housing toolkit and recommendations for Bow Valley decision-makers.

This project is community-driven. The Bow Valley Pride Network is a local organization. We're not a government agency, a developer, or a research firm. We're your neighbours.
